Google Chrome: How to reduce Memory and CPU consumption

Image
Google Chrome is one of the most used browsers in the world by millions of users thanks to its design, versatility and search potential, but like any system made by humans, it is included to errors and one of the most notable by the user is the error associated with excessive CPU consumption. This slows down normal operating system operations, application crashes, computer restarts, and more. Although there is no exact reason on the part of Google as to why this happens, I will bring you some practical advice for its correction. Due to this bad management of the browser, our system is negatively affected by that incessant consumption of resources that ends up collapsing our usual use. If we have several tabs or windows open, consumption will be significantly increased and what to say if we also have many extensions installed. Do not allow Google Chrome and its applications to run in the background Google Chrome allows staying loaded in memory even when we close the brow

What is Blockchain Technology

Image
Blockchain is a technology that allows the transfer of data in a completely secure way thanks to a very sophisticated coding . It is usually compared to a company ledger where all the inflows and outflows of money are recorded. Of course, in this case, we would be talking about a digital event book. Talking about Blockchain is talking about the technology (the information coding system) that is behind Bitcoin. However, its function goes further. It is also used to create other cryptocurrencies that are based on the same principles but have other properties (policy, algorithm, etc.). The Blockchain contributes to a great novelty. And it is that this  transfer does not need an intermediary  to verify and approve the information, but it is distributed in several independent nodes that register and validate it. Thus, once the  information is entered it cannot be deleted, only new records can be added . Furthermore, it will not be legitimized unless the majority of them agree to

Gmail introduced Smart Compose about two years ago in 2018. No errors in emails To deliver these text predictions, Outlook uses the increasingly popular Artificial Intelligence. Depending on the context, from our history,  the system offers the most appropriate word at all times as a suggestion . It is up to us to decide whether or not we want to use it. To use this function you  can use the t

Zoom rolled out new security tools

Image
The US Senate has asked its members to stop using Zoom because of their privacy concerns. Also the Governments of Germany and Taiwan. Elon Musk's SpaceX did the same on its employees' computers. And recently it has been Google, a direct rival, the company that has banned the use of this popular video calling application. All this controversy arises as a result of different security and privacy problems revealed in recent weeks. The first one is that through the screen sharing option, a public link of the video call is automatically generated, something that allows access to anyone who intercepts this link. It is not the only problem, as Zoom would not have, according to The Intercept, end-to-end encryption for its video calls. This is coupled with news reports that Zoom has shared thousands of user data without your permission. Now, to deal with this situation, Zoom has hired Alex Stamos, former Chief Security Officer of Yahoo and Facebook, as a security and protection a

Windows 10X, Surface Neo, Duo What is Windows 10X Windows 10X is a new version of Windows 10. Microsoft specially design windows 10X dual-screen devices such as Surface Neo and Surface Duo which will release in the future. Windows 10X is not an entirely new operating system and it does not contain entirely new apps or features. Microsoft introduced a new method which called a container and also the new operating system is a read-only operating system. The core Windows Operating system will be separated from the applications that run on the system.  Windows 10X seems to be based on  Windows Core OS. Windows 10X will run traditional 32bit desktop apps, but it will run them in the container.   All classic 32-bit desktop applications will run in a single combined container. This meant all apps remain isolated from the core Windows operating system. This method will help avoid making causes of crashes or security issues on the core operating system. Revolution in Multimedia- CODEC H.266

H.266 is the latest video codec. Video codecs are software that can compress and decompress video files. Therefor mainly codec helps to store files in less space and to transfer files using less bandwidth over the network. Common codecs are h.264 and h.265. h.266 is the latest invention of codecs. The new h.266 video codec is a pretty big deal in the video industry. It can not be used yet. Most of the videos are using codec h.265 nowadays. H.266 will have the capability to encode the video file into half of the size that you have now. That will optimise to speed up the transition to 8K HDR video. Isn’t it cool when you thinking the size of the file and transitional rate? H.266 will change the multimedia industry soon.   H.266 can shrink files to 50 per cent which is smaller than what the current h.265 can compress. This process is never affecting video quality to a noticeable level. In simply lets imaging you have 8GB video file encoded in h.264. And the same file can be en
